Cool Bangsar Breakfast Place That Opens Around 8 Morning

1. PULP

bangsar breakfast at pulp

PULP in Bangsar is my go-to Bangsar breakfast spot for catching up with friends in a cozy setting. As you walk in, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the big Germany-made machine that serves as a unique table right in the middle of the cafe. It’s really cool and adds to the overall ambiance. Speaking of the food, I can’t get enough of their delicious cheesecake and the mouthwatering red velvet cookie. They are simply irresistible. And let’s not forget the best Alfredo pasta I’ve ever had in a cafe! It’s a must-try.

taco at PULP

Although the lemon meringue tart was a bit too sweet for my liking, their canelé was absolutely delightful. The only downside is that they don’t have any power sockets for laptop users, which is a shame. Despite that, I would still highly recommend this place. It’s a fantastic spot for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Just keep in mind that it’s not a very big space, so it’s best to arrive early to avoid any disappointment with a big crowd.

english breakfast at PULP

While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality of the Bangsar breakfast and drinks definitely matches the standard. Coffee lovers will be delighted as the aroma of coffee fills the space. PULP has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite coffee places. The chilled vibe, delicious coffee, and assortment of great cakes and food make it a winner. The cafe is situated in an old print works, which gives it an art/industrial feel. I found it to be a perfect place to work, with spacious seating and reliable wifi.

breakfast eggs and bread with a cup of teh tarik at PULP

The standout for me was the outstanding banana bread/cake, the best I’ve tasted outside of home baking. I will definitely be coming back often. The coffee is also highly recommended, and I enjoyed the Papa’s Breakfast with its yummy homemade sausage and a side of mixed fruits. They have a variety of cakes and pastries at the counter, so I couldn’t resist trying the carrot cake (a must!) and the almond croissant. All in all, it’s a nice little cafe for a weekend breakfast. I noticed signs and messages around the cafe with phrases like “EVERYDAY IS A HOLIDAY” and “MY MOTHER TOLD ME TO CHOOSE MY COFFEE WISELY.” It adds a charming touch to the place.

2. Der Backmeister Bangsar

Der Backmeister Bangsar for breakfast

Tucked away in Bangsar, there’s a hidden gem of a German-style restaurant that offers an authentic taste of Germany. The highlight here is undoubtedly the freshly baked German bread and flavorful sausages. Don’t miss out on trying the apple streusel, a delightful Bangsar breakfast treat that shouldn’t be skipped.

What adds to the charm of this place is its green and natural atmosphere, creating a fantastic dining experience. Speaking of the bread, it’s absolutely amazing! We indulged in various types of bread, and each one was fantastic. The tranquil environment, surrounded by lush greenery, adds to the overall peaceful ambiance. I must admit, I was expecting German coffee when I ordered the “Germano,” but it turned out to be just black coffee, similar to an Americano.

Moving on to the main dishes, we ordered the goulash, meatloaf, and sausage. The flavors leaned towards the salty side, but the bread and sausages were of excellent quality. The sausages were well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

While the prices may be on the higher side, you can enjoy a traditional German breakfast without having to pay in euros. It’s advisable to arrive a bit earlier to secure onsite parking. Although we only explored the main salon, it left a lasting impression with its impressive ambiance. Finding this place may require a little effort, but it’s well worth it. Consider it a secret getaway where you can escape into a world of German flavors and hospitality.

Kaya & Toast Bangsar breakfast

Kaya & Toast Bangsar is an absolute gem when it comes to breakfast, making it a must-visit Bangsar breakfast spot. As soon as you step in, the warm smiles from the manager and staff instantly make you feel happy and welcomed. This restaurant specializes in Sarawakian cuisine and is open from 7am to 8pm, ensuring you can satisfy your cravings at any time of the day.

The ambience of the place is lovely, creating a pleasant and clean atmosphere. During our breakfast visit, we decided to try a variety of dishes, including nasi lemak, American breakfast, mee kolok, and curry kelupis. Each dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and truly authentic. The service was impressively fast, and the staff members were incredibly accommodating and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. This place is a must-visit for anyone craving Sarawakian food, especially locals and those who appreciate a fusion of Eastern and Western flavors.

In fact, I would go as far as saying that it’s one of the best Sarawak restaurants or kopitiams in town! If you visit, be sure to try their Sarawak laksa and roti bakar, as they are absolute must-haves. Not only is the Bangsar breakfast delicious, but the restaurant is also air-conditioned, creating a clean and cozy environment for a delightful dining experience. Trust me, you’ll find yourself returning for more!

nasi lemak at Kaya & Toast Bangsar

Finding a good place for Sarawakian food can be challenging, but Kaya & Toast Bangsar stands out. We were fortunate enough to find a parking spot, considering how difficult it can be in that area during peak hours. We decided to order their kolo mee for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. It comes highly recommended and is a testament to the quality and authenticity of this restaurant.

4. Urban Daybreak

Urban Daybreak counter

Urban Daybreak is an incredible Bangsar breakfast spot where I had the pleasure of trying their delicious baked eggs with garlic bread. Let me tell you, it was a total yum! The portion size was quite generous, leaving me fully satisfied. However, I must mention that we had to wait for quite some time before securing a table. The place is quite spacious inside, so I think they could consider adding more tables to accommodate the constant line of customers outside.

Urban Daybreak breakfast bowl

The Bangsar breakfast at Urban Daybreak was undeniably good, although slightly on the pricey side. The dishes were unique enough to prevent any thoughts of “I could have made this at home.” You could really taste the quality of the ingredients used, which added to the overall experience. I must commend the impeccable service we received. If you’re in the mood for a treat-yourself day, I highly recommend giving this place a try, even if it means waiting a while for a table – trust me, it’s worth it.

Now, let me share with you the dishes we tried and loved. First up, the Ultimate steak sandwich with a sunny-side-up egg. While the price may be a little high for a sandwich, the taste was absolutely amazing! The sandwich was loaded with a massive amount of juicy and tender steak, sandwiched between crispy toasted bread. It was a delightful combination of flavors and textures.

Next, we had the Fried Chicken Waffle, which was generously topped with around 5-6 pieces of delicious fried chicken. The waffle itself had a softer texture with a hint of sweetness. The sweet and savory flavors worked harmoniously together, creating a delightful culinary experience.

Finally, we tried Urban’s French Toast, which was a delightful blend of sweet and savory. The dish featured crispy bacon, vanilla mascarpone, and summer berries on top of a soft brioche loaf. It was simply amazing and left me wanting more.

fruit waffle and condensed milk at Urban Daybreak

The portion sizes at Urban Daybreak are quite generous. As someone with a small stomach, I had to take some of the food home. Even my fiancé, who has a large appetite, struggled to finish his portion. He loved the food but hoped for smaller portions to avoid overeating. Personally, I disagree with that sentiment. Generous portions mean more value for your money, right? Additionally, I must mention that the service at Urban Daybreak is top-notch. The staff members are friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, just to have a chat with the amazing staff again.

5. VCR Bangsar

I had a wonderful Bangsar breakfast experience at VCR Bangsar. The portion of their big breakfast was indeed big, and I particularly enjoyed the unique flavor of the grilled tomatoes. There was a layer of “crunchy syrup” on top that added an interesting twist. The scrambled eggs were creamy and the homemade sausage was delightful. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it as a good spot for breakfast.

avocado egg toast from VCR Bangsar

When I visited the cafe for breakfast, I found the ambiance to be pleasant. The staff members were fast and friendly, providing excellent service. Their coffee is definitely a must-try, but I found their Bangsar breakfast to be average. The sourdough bread was enjoyable, but aside from that, I didn’t feel that there was anything exceptional. If you plan to stop by, I recommend focusing on their coffee offerings.

softshell crab burger from VCR Bangsar

During my visit, I had the opportunity to try the shakshuka and french toast. I must warn you that there is a generous amount of ice cream on the french toast, more than enough to share! Among the other dishes, I particularly loved the Typhoon Shelter (RM30), which is a spaghetti dish topped with soft shell prawns, basil, crispy garlic, and chili flakes. It had a delightful kick to it, making it stand out from the usual brunch options.

english breakfast at VCR Bangsar

We also ordered the Three Cheese Toastie (RM28), which is a vegetarian dish. It consisted of sourdough bread filled with cheddar cheese, mozzarella, onion jam, mustard mayo, and tomato salad. While this is a standard brunch meal, I don’t think you would feel fully satisfied by eating it alone.

6. Yeast Bistronomy

egg toast salad breakfast at Yeast Bistronomy

Yeast Bistronomy is the go-to place in K.L for the best croissants. I highly recommend starting your day here with a cup of hot latte and their delectable croissants. They truly know how to create the perfect Bangsar breakfast experience.

If you’re in the mood for something more substantial, I suggest trying their Oeufs Benedictine or Oeufs Florentine. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you’ll be greeted by the inviting aroma of bread and coffee. The Bangsar breakfast is not only delicious but also the atmosphere is incredibly chill and cozy, giving off an Asian French ambience. The combination of great food, excellent staff, and top-quality pastries make it a fantastic dining experience.

breakfast steak from Yeast Bistronomy

In terms of parking, it can be quite challenging as street parking is usually full. However, I usually opt to park around the housing neighborhood and take a short walk. A little exercise is worth it for such good food. One of the highlights for me was the Tuna croissant, which was incredibly light and crispy. It transported me to pastry heaven. Pair it with their full-bodied coffee, and you’ve got yourself a perfect breakfast. The ambiance of Yeast Bistronomy is reminiscent of a typical Parisian boulangerie, filled with the delightful scents of buttery croissants and nutty aroma of an americano. It’s definitely a place I would visit again at any time of the day.

The setting at Yeast Bistronomy is lovely, with a clean and comfortable ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the overall aesthetic. Additionally, the food they serve is excellent, and their desserts are simply delicious.

7. Baba Low Bangsar Utama

At Baba Low, you can always expect consistent and great service. It’s a popular spot for Bangsar breakfast and lunch, especially for those working in the area. While the Bangsar breakfast may not be mind-blowing, it’s consistently good, and the fact that they have stood the test of time says something about the place. What I really love about Baba Low is the nostalgic look and ambiance, reminiscent of the small and simple restaurants of my childhood. The prices are reasonable too, although due to the regional inflation rate, there have been some increases.

mi goreng from Baba Low Bangsar Utama

The nasi lemak is a popular choice here, and it’s one of my favorites as well. They serve breakfast sets all day, which is perfect for budget eats in the Bangsar area. This is definitely a restaurant I would recommend.

morning nasi lemak set from Baba Low Bangsar Utama

The restaurant itself is clean, airy, and offers plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and helpful. I usually go for the breakfast set, which includes Kaya toast and eggs, accompanied by a couple of hot teas. It’s simple, yet delicious. The menu is not extensive, but the food is full of flavor. The cozy ambiance creates a pleasant escape from the noise of the city. The crowd is usually moderate, so it’s easy to find seats. Additionally, they have some childhood snacks and drinks that bring back nostalgic memories.

mee hun siam from Baba Low Bangsar Utama

One of the standout dishes for me is the nasi lemak with fried chicken. It’s flavorful without being too greasy, and they include a generous serving of vegetables, which sets it apart from other places. Just note that the chicken tends to have a firmer texture.

The prices at Baba Low are reasonable, and the service is efficient. If you’re worried about parking, opting for a GrabCar is a convenient choice to avoid any potential parking problems.

Proper Cafe is truly a hidden gem for Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxing, and the attention to detail is evident throughout the space. It’s well-ventilated and impeccably clean. What sets this cafe apart is not only the ambiance but also the delicious Bangsar breakfast. We particularly enjoyed the big breakfast, which pleasantly surprised us with its lack of oiliness or greasiness. It’s the perfect spot for a leisurely weekend breakfast, and we already know we’ll be returning again and again.

Nestled in Bangsar, this small and cozy sidewalk cafe is a must-visit for those who prefer a quiet and peaceful environment. The ambiance is inviting, and sitting under natural air and lighting adds to the refreshing experience, especially in the bustling morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our big breakfast and coffee, and the portions were quite generous. The rustic charm of this eatery makes it feel like home from the moment you step inside.

On a Sunday morning, we dropped by for a quick Bangsar breakfast. Despite the potentially challenging parking situation, luck was on our side, and we found a spot. The food arrived promptly after placing our order, and we opted for the Bigger Breakfasts without baked beans, just as pictured. The croissant and omelette were exceptional, and the service was attentive and accommodating, catering to our specific requests. Based on this experience, we definitely plan to return and explore more items on the menu.

In addition to the delightful food and cozy atmosphere, the cafe itself is super cute. The coffee was delicious, and we highly recommend trying the Avocado chicken croissant, which was expertly prepared and packed with flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely cafe to anyone in search of a delightful brunch spot.

9. Gravybaby Bangsar

outdoor seat at Gravybaby Bangsar for breakfast

Gravybaby in Bangsar has become one of my go-to places for breakfast, and I’m particularly fond of their vegetarian big breakfast. The coffee and ginger tea they serve are top-notch as well. The staff members are friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Thankfully, there is ample seating available during breakfast hours, although parking can be a challenge. Personally, I choose to walk from the Bangsar LRT station, which is a convenient option.

One of the things I appreciate about this restaurant is its pleasant ambience. The Bangsar breakfast always arrives fresh and is definitely worth the price. The menu offers a wide range of choices, including pasta, pizza, fries, and delectable desserts that you can’t resist trying.

I must mention that the Bangsar breakfast at Gravybaby is excellent, and they offer it at a reasonable price point. Not only is the service impeccable, but the overall atmosphere of the place is also delightful. The extensive menu caters to diverse preferences, making it difficult to decide what to order. During my visits, I tried several dishes, and each one was incredibly delicious. In fact, I enjoyed the food so much that I ended up going back three times in just five days!

If you happen to visit on a Sunday, I highly recommend trying their Sunday roast. The cauliflower cheese and beef were particularly outstanding. I also had the pleasure of savoring their shepherd’s pie, which brought back memories of my childhood. Gravybaby offers great food and drinks at reasonable prices, ensuring a satisfying dining experience.

10. Antipodean Cafe

Antipodean Cafe is a charming New Zealand-style establishment that specializes in breakfast and brunch, and they even roast their own coffee. It’s a lovely all-day breakfast place where you can experience a delightful array of flavors. The Bangsar breakfast is truly great, the coffees are fantastic, and the cakes and pastries are absolutely divine. It’s truly remarkable how they excel in every aspect.

If you plan to visit, be aware that parking in front of the shop or nearby can be a challenge. It’s advisable to park at the nearby Bangsar Village 2 and take a short walk over.

Antipodean Bangsar has become an iconic institution. Despite remaining the same size throughout the years, the indoor seating provides a comfortable and inviting space to escape the scorching heat outside. However, if you prefer an outdoor experience, there are also tables available.

You won’t find traditional menus at Antipodean; instead, you can conveniently access the menu by scanning the QR code on your table. Alternatively, you can glance at the prominently displayed blackboard, which serves as the signature decor for all Antipodean cafes.

The menu offers a wide selection of Western dishes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Popular options include the Big Breakfast and All Day Breakfast, along with a variety of bagels, breads, and pastries.

One thing is certain: the Bangsar breakfast at Antipodean never disappoints, and that speaks volumes about their commitment to quality.

Having successfully operated for many years, Antipodean has grown from strength to strength since opening its first shop. It’s now expanded to four locations in the Klang Valley, one in Johor, and even has branches in Indonesia and the Philippines. This growth is a testament to the fact that good food transcends boundaries, and people will always know where to find it!

11. ALTA Café Bangsar

unagi egg toast breakfast from ALTA Café Bangsar

The brunch or breakfast experience at Alta is simply the best. Their 5-star black coffee is a true delight, perfectly complementing their famous Alta Burger. The trout roe omelette is also a standout dish that left a lasting impression.

While the portions may be on the smaller side, the exceptional quality of the food more than makes up for it, deserving a 5-star rating. The upgraded version of the Sausage Egg McMuffin is a definite winner!

chickpea and fish chunk breakfast from ALTA Café Bangsar

In the past, during the era of Nokia and Motorola, I used to wake up early and seek out breakfast places. McDonald’s was a favorite at the time (please don’t judge!). I would satisfy my craving for a Sausage Egg McMuffin as some outlets were open 24 hours. However, times have changed.

We tried the tuna open sandwich, which we found to be fantastic, along with a great cup of coffee. We had to wait until recently to return.

Located on the first floor, above a dental clinic, on the quieter section of Jalan Bangkung in Bangsar, entering Alta felt like stepping into a serene oasis. People were quietly going about their work while enjoying their morning coffee and Bangsar breakfast.

Here are some highlights from their menu:

– Green Omelette (RM24): A flat omelette topped with a tomato-inspired sauce, generously loaded with spinach, rocket, and shaved parmesan.

– Trout Roe Omelette (RM26): Featuring homemade creme fraiche, trout roe, and soft herbs. The combination of flavors creates an explosion of taste in the mouth.

– Brunch Roll (RM25): A herby sausage patty, fried egg, cheddar, and chili jam aioli on brioche. This dish takes you back to the memory of a popular breakfast at a well-known fast-food chain but with a more refined and elevated twist.

– Special mention goes to their long black coffee, which stands out with its fruity and acidic notes, setting it apart from the usual.

sausage and egg breakfast from ALTA Café Bangsar

From Thursday to Saturday, Alta transforms into a dinner venue with a focus on natural wines and a dinner menu. Their signature burger, the Alta Burger, takes center stage during this time. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on it as I don’t consume beef.

Their menu occasionally changes to provide fresh perspectives, but their coffee alone is worth regular visits.

12. Idli Only Cafe, Indian Bangsar Breakfast

roti cheese Idli Only Cafe

That Saturday morning after yoga, I had the most amazing breakfast experience. I’ve always been a fan of Idli Only Cafe, but this place took it to another level. I decided to try the manchurian idli for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious. And of course, their brew coffee is a must-try!

I ordered the Shahjahani Biryani and Plain Dosai. The food was excellent, and the portions were generous. The dosai was soft, and the curries were packed with flavor. The service was good, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant.

meat rounds at Idli Only Cafe

During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying the podi idly, sambar idly, and the Rajasthani mutton. Luckily, I didn’t encounter any sour idlis as mentioned in other reviews (maybe I got lucky!). The bru coffee and masala tea were exceptionally good, bursting with strong flavors. The idlis were soft, and both the tomato and coconut chutneys were delightful. The sambar was also delicious. The Rajasthani mutton had great flavors, although the meat was a bit tough.

spiced potatoes from Idli Only Cafe bangsar breakfast

I really enjoy the dishes at this cafe. The briyani, mutton chuka, and dahi bendi were all tasty. Just keep in mind that despite the cafe’s name being Idli Only, they don’t serve idlis at night.

Idli Only Cafe indian breakfast in bangsar

This Bangsar breakfast cafe specializes in idlis, offering variations made with rice flour, millet flour, and semolina flour. The light and fluffy rice variation, served with dhal, pairs perfectly with papadums and aloo gobhi. If you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere and want to avoid crowds, Saturday afternoon seems to be the ideal time to visit. While they also have other Indian offerings like dosai and a vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu, the clear winner here is the idli.

13. Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf

breakfast toast and mushroom from Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf

Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf is the perfect place for a great breakfast, especially if you’re a fan of real bacon. I would give them an extra star if the sausage was better presented.

breakfast steak from Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf

I highly recommend this place for a chill-out session. The outdoor seating is super relaxing, and we enjoyed our meals and some wine. While the food was okay, the environment was really nice and cozy. The prices are reasonable, and parking is convenient since the restaurant is located inside Bangsar Shopping Mall.

egg and alfalfa toast from Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf

This quirky Bangsar breakfast restaurant has a fairy tale theme, with a creative menu featuring pork-centric dishes. The playful decor adds to the fun dining experience, and the friendly service is a plus. If you’re someone who enjoys unique dining concepts and pork-based cuisine, this place is highly recommended.

bacon salad from Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf

I can’t give enough praise to the Pork Frittata, which deserves 5 stars! It was absolutely delicious. The Caesar Salad was also great. However, I must admit that the burger and fries tasted average, even though the portion size was big. As women, we couldn’t finish it all and had to sacrifice the burger bun.

14. Nyonya Tingkat Bangsar Utama UOA

nasi kerabu Nyonya Tingkat

I have had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast multiple times at Nyonya Tingkat Bangsar Utama UOA. The food is simple yet tasty, and the complimentary tea or coffee is of good quality. The service is prompt, and the menu is easy to navigate. The waitresses are friendly and efficient, adding to the pleasant dining experience.

char kuey teow breakfast from Nyonya Tingkat in bangsar

I have visited this Bangsar breakfast place for breakfast and lunch on multiple occasions. The prices on the breakfast menu are reasonable, with the nasi lemak telur bungkus and teh tarik combo priced at only RM7.90. The staff members are friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

chicken leg roast breakfast from nyonya tingkat

During my breakfast visit, I had the pleasure of trying their delicious nasi lemak. The rice was fragrant and fluffy, with a delightful pandan green tint. The ayam rendang was tender, moist, and packed with flavor. The interior of the restaurant is nice and clean, and the presence of air conditioning adds to the comfort.

fried rice from Nyonya Tingkat bangsar

On another occasion, I ordered the Ayam Penyet Rice set and Nyonya Laksa set, both of which came with refreshing drinks like ice honey lemongrass and Milo Dinosaur. All the dishes were enjoyable, with the Nasi Lemak Sambal evoking a sense of nostalgia. The Nyonya Laksa soup had a rich and thick consistency. Additionally, the waitress was very friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience.

15. Restoran Rocky

Restoran Rocky holds the distinction of being one of the oldest Bangsar breakfast kopitiams near Telawi, and their Prawn Mee is highly regarded as one of the top choices in KL. The kopitiam itself is clean and surprisingly breezy, providing a comfortable dining experience that sets it apart. In addition to their signature Prawn Mee, which receives a rating of 3.5 stars, they also serve Mixed Rice (3.5 stars) and Pork Noodles (3 stars). However, the Prawn Mee, while enjoyable, lacks the strong and original flavor that some might expect. It features pork slices and small shrimps that complement the noodles nicely.

prawn noodle as bangsar breakfast at Restoran Rocky

The prices at Restoran Rocky are very reasonable, particularly considering its location in the Bangsar neighborhood. It’s possible to enjoy a meal with drinks for less than RM10. One downside, however, is the limited parking availability in the area. Nonetheless, the eatery offers tasty and wholesome homemade cuisine, prepared by the warm aunties who run the place. If I find myself in Telawi during lunchtime with a hungry stomach, I know exactly where to go. Restoran Rocky might be the only hawker stall you’ll find on Telawi Street, and the friendly aunties working there add to the charm of the place.

fried noodle with prawns from Restoran Rocky for breakfast bangsar

During my visit, I tried their fish noodle soup, which had a mee hoon base. It not only looked nutritious but also tasted comforting and satisfying. Even though it’s a simple dish, it left a warm impression.

I also had the pleasure of getting a takeaway of their char siew rice, which was excellent. The char siew had a unique flavor compared to the usual offerings, and I found myself enjoying their version even more. I definitely plan to return to try their Char Kuey Teow. I love coming to this place! I’ve heard that every Wednesday and Sunday, they serve Yong Tau Foo. The aunties who work there are incredibly nice and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The prices of the food are very fair, and you can expect to find delicious and authentic Chinese dishes. I must mention that their vinegar pork leg dish is superb!

yong to fu from Restoran Rocky

Overall, Restoran Rocky stands out as one of the best Bangsar breakfast places to enjoy economy mixed rice, especially on days when they serve the vinegar pork leg dish. Their simple yet flavorful fried kuay teow is a highlight as well.

16. Tedboy @ Bangsar, Telawi 4

breakfast pasta from Tedboy

Tedboy is a great place to enjoy a quiet breakfast and a cup of coffee. The food we ordered, including the big breakfast and baked egg, was satisfying. Personally, I found the baked egg to be more flavorful and enjoyable. The portion sizes for breakfast are generous, offering good value for money. The staff at Tedboy Telawi are friendly, and the overall environment of the café is pleasant.

breakfast toast with salad from Tedboy

The bakery itself offers a decent selection of Bangsar breakfast such as bread, biscuits, cakes, and sandwiches. The carrot cake stood out as a delicious choice. I also had the opportunity to indulge in a variety of cakes, which were all tasty. If given the chance, I would visit again to try their breakfast menu.

curry garlic bread from Tedboy

Additionally, Tedboy provides a wide range of options, and the owner is constantly striving to improve and upgrade their offerings. I particularly enjoyed their sandwiches and the not-too-salty or heavy egg on toast cheesy omelette, which made for a satisfying breakfast.

stacked toast and fries from Tedboy

The hot honey lemon drink I ordered came in a perfect cup size, unlike some other cafes that serve smaller cups. Tedboy provides a pleasant environment to enjoy coffee, tea, cakes, pastries, and sandwiches while meeting with friends or for personal time.

17. Bunglow37

egg ham and bread with salad breakfast at Bunglow37

Bunglow37 offers a beautiful ambiance and excellent service, making it a great choice for special occasions and Bangsar breakfast. During our visit, we ordered a 3-course set menu and an a la carte pizza. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary bread and the thoughtful gesture of splitting the soup from the set menu into two bowls. The lamb dish was perfectly cooked, with tender meat that easily slid off the bone. The cocktails were also delicious, and I particularly enjoyed my Daiquiri. However, the chicken satay pizza tasted more like peanut butter, which left me a bit uncertain. Nonetheless, overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and we enjoyed our meal.

cream bread from Bunglow37

I must mention that I really appreciated the bread and the apple strudel, which were delightful. I plan to return to try other dishes on their menu. Additionally, I took away the caviar loaf, which was absolutely delicious.

Their apple strudel is the best I’ve had, with generous amounts of loaded apple slices. Adding extra cream made it even more delightful. The Bavarian sausages were average, but the bread selection was good and fresh. The goulash had a great taste, although it would have been better if it had been served slightly hotter. I look forward to returning to sample their other dishes.

While I wished the goulash portion was slightly larger, I found the breads offered at Bunglow37 to be interesting and enjoyable. I plan to try their sandwiches during my next visit. Additionally, they provide free parking, although it may be limited during peak hours.

There are several standout dishes at Bunglow37. The Vietnamese Spring Roll is absolutely delicious, as is the Chicken Chop with its well-marinated chicken and perfect mushroom sauce. The mushroom soup is also highly enjoyable. While the smoked duck pasta is good, it didn’t have a wow factor. However, the Red Velvet and Carrot Cake desserts were both incredibly yummy and not overly sweet.
